A monument of nature, an Opuk preserve will get its own museum.
According to the research assistant of the Preserve Victor Shaganov, there are lots of exhibits already collected: photomaterials, minerals, archeological finds, stuffed animals and fish, herbariums for a botanival department.
Enthusiast are ready to continue forming the exhibits, but there's nowhere to store them.
Such museums are excisting in Crimea in Alushta and Kara-dag and in some other cities of Ukraine. The staff of the preserve is studuing their experience at the moment.
Kerch preserve is visited by 300 pax every year. The low number of tourist is explained by the remoteness of it from settlements, lack of roads, and limited period of excursions - they are provided only from april till september. _________________ LIFE IS GIVEN ONCE AND IT MUST BE LIVED IN THE CRIMEA (C.)
